Dongxuan Sutra[]

Description One of the strongest Qi Gong of the world, made by the great master Dongxuan of the ancient eras of humans on Earth. Dongxuan Sutra Effects[]

- One could see the lifeforce of beings, only if said beings smell the Dongxuan Scent that emanates the users body. which only spreads to the surroundings when running the Dongxuan Sutra.

First Gene Lock[]
First gene lock allowed him to see humans, spirits and beasts lifeforce without them having to be breathing in his Dongxuan Scent, through the new ability; Dongxuan Aura.
Second Gene Lock[]
The second tier allowed him to mask his lifeforce to elude the notice of others. Can also mask the lifeforce of those inside his Dongxuan Aura.
Third Gene Lock[]
After opening his third gene lock, he could now obscure the seventh sense of others. He could not dull or inhibit the eighth sense, though. But still, provided they did not have it, it meant he could make others practically blind and deaf. His Dongxuan aura could not only stifle the seventh sense of one individual, it could be cast across an entire area. That meant, if a spirit was outside the effective radius of his Dongxuan aura, they could neither see nor enter that place.[1]
Fourth Gene Lock[]
The fourth tier, unfortunately, did not stifle the eighth sense of others as Han Sen had believed it might. All it did was increase the radius of the other abilities he was already able to perform. Dongxuan Aura also expands greatly.
Fifth Gene Lock[]
The Dongxuan Sutra user gets an eighth sense. Now, when they scan someone, they could get a feel for what another person is thinking. They could hear the thoughts of others, but only if the feelings of said person are strong and at the forefront of their minds. The stronger their thoughts, the clearer the user of Dongxuan Sutra could hear them.
Sixth Gene Lock[]
Receive a boost in clarity and vision. All hesitation seemingly disappear. Every inch of the body 'turns into' a reflective fraction of a mirror that helps the practitioner see what they are capable of in the moment.
Seventh Gene Lock[]
The user could simulate the energy of the plants and blend in with other plants, away from prying eyes. Unless seen physically, none could notice the presence.
Eighth and Ninth Gene Lock[]
Detecting, analyzing, and understanding lifeforces were enhanced upon opening all Nine Gene Locks. Everything turns into a 3D image, or model, to examine with stunning clarity inside the mind of the practitioner. The energy flow is included, allowing the practitioner to examine the energy with far greater depth.
Also gives the proficiency to be able to examine the internal organs of a being.
Tenth Gene Lock[]
He could observe the smallest detail of the smallest thing in the environment. He could study blades of grass at a molecular level.
This vision he now had was almost scary. Nothing escaped his attention anymore, and he himself knew no details would go unnoticed.
Life-and-Death Breakthrough[]
In the Dongxuan Sutra, committing a Life-and-Death Breakthrough was incredibly dangerous. Even the most powerful of people could die using it, and traditionally, there was only a ten percent chance of survival when doing such a thing.[2] Dongxuan Zi explained that when he created the Dongxuan Sutra, he ensured its Life-and-Death Breakthrough had a higher success rate, though. It was apparently over fifty percent.
Han Sen speculates that the Life-and-Death Breakthrough is the road to becoming a Demigod.
